Leroy Francis, 86, went home to be with the Lord on April 20, 2017 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.  Leroy was born November 11, 1930 in Port Arthur, TX to the late Roy and Hazel Francis.  He attended Lincoln High School and retired as a Longshoreman with Local 25.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cynthia (Noonie) Francis; brothers Curtis Ray and Lawrence (LW) Francis; sister Gloria Younger; sister-in-law Marie Francis.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters Marie Woodkins, Carla Francis, Kenyatta Guillory and Litha Porter; sisters Erma Moore and Carolyn Francis; sister-in-law, Earl Jean Francis; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
