Threw an inning last Wednesday against Louisiana Tech and struck out one in a 5-3 win. Pitched 1 1/3 innings Sunday at Abilene Christian and struck out four while allowing a hit in an 8-5 win. Both were no-decisions.
Fontenot has a 1.56 ERA.

Has 11 home runs on the season, 42 RBI and 50 runs scored while batting .429. He has stolen 13 bases.

Threw two innings April 4 against Sam Houston State and struck out two while allowing two hits in an 8-1 win. Took the loss Sunday against Oklahoma after giving up an earned run on one hit in one inning of a 2-1 defeat.

Has won her last 10 decisions, including three in the past eight days. She scattered two runs on four hits over five innings and struck out four against Alabama Southern Community College on Saturday in a 14-2 win.

Leads the Region XIV South Zone with a .497 batting average. She’s driven in 32 runs, stolen 38 bases and scored 51 runs.

Hit safely in her past four games and is batting .302 on the season with five home runs.
