Henen Charles, Jr., 56, of Port Arthur passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017.  A lifelong resident of Port Arthur, he was a 1979 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.  He is preceded in death by his parents Henen Sr. and Melvina Conner Charles.

Henen is survived by one son Jordan Charles of Orange, TX; four daughters Courtney Charles of Houston, TX, Latrina Spann (Somenneco) of San Antonio, TX, Darlene Charles and Precious Charles of Port Arthur, TX; two sisters Mit’chell Penny Broussard (Sidney) and Linda Thomas (Frank); one brother Jonathan Charles (Ruth) all of Port Arthur, TX; 7 grandchildren; a special friend Geraldine Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.
