LEGACY’S MORRIS NETS 7 IN McDONALD’S GAME

Baylor-bound Alexis Morris of Legacy Christian scored seven points in 16 minutes Wednesday, but her West team fell short in an 80-74 defeat to the East in McDonald’s All-American girls basketball game Wednesday in Chicago.

Morris shot 3 of 6 from the floor, making one three-point basket. She also had rebound and two steals.

Morris helped Legacy Christian win the TAPPS state championship earlier this month with a 64-49 win over Midland Christian.
