A shooting at Prince Hall Apartments that happened late Sunday night involved victims ages 18 and 19 years of age.

Risa Carpenter, public information officer for the city, said 14 shots were fired during the incident at the apartment complex.

Port Arthur Police received multiple 911 calls of shots fired at the apartments shortly before midnight Sunday,

A short time later two victims showed up at St. Mary Hospital with gunshot wounds and were last listed in stable condition. They arrived at the hospital via private vehicle.

From witness statements it is believed that at least one more person might have been hit by gunfire.

The victims were not cooperative with police and detectives do not know if the incident is related to any other recent shootings in the city.
