Totaled 30 points (10-of-19 shooting from floor and 7 of 8 from free-throw line) in a 64-45 home win over Alcorn State and 16 points in a 58-46 home win over Southern. Texas Southern played Prairie View A&M Tuesday night in the first round of the SWAC tournament.
