Ann Mae Genuardi

Ann Mae Genuardi, 87, a life-long resident of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at Gulf Healthcare Nursing Home. Ann was born September 5, 1929 in Orange, Texas to the late Paul and Marie Breaux. She was a devout catholic and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Ann graduated from Thomas Jefferson in 1950 and was married to Sam Genuardi in 1954 in Port Arthur, Texas. Ann was a real estate agent for over 30 years. She also worked at Merchants National Bank and owned and operated Blue Bonnet Florist for a short period. Ann had a great personality and was fun to be around. She loved her cats and enjoyed going to the casinos.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Ophe Breaux and Marie Marceaux Breaux. She is survived by her cousin, Winnie Manuel of Lake Charles, Louisiana; distant relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday March 7, 2017, with a rosary to be recited at 1:30 p.m., at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
