FRISCO — Lamar senior Michael Feucht has been named Southland Conference Player of the Week announced league officials Tuesday afternoon.

Feucht received the honor for his part in helping the Cardinals extend their win streak to three matches. It marks the fourth time in his career that Feucht has received the honor.

The Cardinals went 2-0 last week defeating Southern Mississippi and UT Rio Grande Valley. The Cardinals defeated their opponents by a combined score of 10-3. Feucht recorded a perfect 3-0 record in the two matches between singles and doubles play, and was just a point short of a fourth victory when the match was halted due to LU recording the doubles point by winning the other two matches.
