Mary Ellen Guidry, 79, of Port Arthur, died Saturday, February 18, 2017, in Port Arthur. A native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Mrs. Guidry was a former member of the Eastern Star and was a Red Hussar a Thomas Jefferson High School. She enjoyed fishing and golfing with her husband John.

Mrs. Guidry is survived by her husband John of Port Arthur; her son, Richard D. Melancon of Groves; her daughter, Terri M. Jolly of Corpus Christi; four grandchildren, Elissa Gregory, StevenJolly, Gregory Jolly, Melanie Melancon and one great grandchild Levi Rose Jolly.

Mrs. Guidry’s family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 10:00 am at Grammier – Oberle. The interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
