While we wish Justice of the Peace Judge Tom Gillam a speedy recovery, we also wish for a few answers.
Specifically, we would like to know, publicly and on the record, what exactly Gillam was doing in Houston when he was supposed to be in Jefferson County.
We mean no disrespect by the question, but the plain fact is, Gillam is a paid public servant and the public he was supposed to be serving was ignored while he was in Houston. We have asked this question numerous times and we have been met with silence.
So, the question remains: Why?
