Agnes B. “Granny” Jackson was born in Longbridge, LA on January 12, 1922. She departed this life on January 27, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Shelby Jackson, son Charles Pierre, granddaughter, Shonda Edmondson, and brother Clifton Jackson, Sr..

She leaves to treasure her loving memories her brother, Norris Jackson of Marksville, LA her sons, James Pierre, Jr. of Rodanthe, North Carolina, Paul (Stephaine) Jackson of Antioch, CA, daughters Barbara only, Mary (Jimmie, Sr.) Hayes, Claudette Phillips all of Port Arthur. Faye (Robert) Dalton of Long Beach, CA, 15 grand children, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Home going services will be held at Mr Sinia Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday, February 4, 2017. Visitation at 10:00 am with services at 11:00 am.

The resting place will be Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Moody-Harris Funeral Home.
