Vincent helps Team USA

Memorial senior cornerback Kary Vincent Jr. took another opportunity to showcase his talents on a national stage before National Signing Day.

Vincent made three tackles and returned a punt 11 yards Sunday as the U.S. under-19 football team defeated Canada 33-11 in the International Bowl at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla.

Vincent is expected to sign with LSU on Wednesday. He played in the Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando on Jan. 1.

Team USA totaled 485 yards and scored five touchdowns and did not allow Canada to score a touchdown.

D’Andre Swift of the U.S. rushed for 109 yards on 12 carries. He also had a 51-yard reception that led to a 36-yard touchdown pass from receiver Randal Grimes to Matt Dotson.
