Always considered one of the top lady bowlers in the Beaumont area, Belinda Powell is beginning to creep up on some of the younger lady bowlers she competes against at The Max in Port Arthur.

Bowling in the Thursday night Energy Country Ford/Allstate League, Belinda shot games of 202, 279 and 205 to lead all the lady bowlers this week.

Gender leaders came from different leagues this week instead of the usual Monday and Thursday night leagues. Wednesday morning’s Golden Oldies saw Rick Hermsen hammer the lanes to the tune of 227, 279 and 214 for an impressive 720 set to lead all the senior men. Wednesday night’s Fun Bowlers league had Joyce Cialona shoot games of 190, 192 and 223 for a 605 set to lead all the senior ladies.

Monday night’s Valero league had this week’s overall leader. Kurt Cullums absolutely crushed the lanes Monday night when he shot games of 268, 289 and 236 for a nice 793 series.

The Saturday morning Stars of Tomorrow had Brandon Bertrand tame the lanes by firing games of 200, 163 and 208 for a sweet 571 set.
