Buckle up for road ahead

In 2016 a president was elected by the system that has been in place since 1789. The system, the Electoral College, has been called rigged, flawed, unfair — even manipulated. Be that as it may, it has been in place for over 200 years. Perhaps it should be changed, replaced, repealed. However, Donald Trump is president of the United State of America by this system. He is a Republican, he has a Republican-controlled-congress. For the next four years at least, America and perhaps most of the world, will be their playpen. So fasten your seatbelt, folks, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
