With his wife by his side, Mr. Timothy “Bear” White departed this life on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Golden Triangle Emergency Center.  A native of Port Arthur, Texas, Timothy attended the public schools of Port Arthur.  He graduated from Lincoln High School as a proud member of the Class of 1973.

He is a former member of the New Hope Baptist church of Port Arthur, and the Golden Triangle Christian Fellowship Church of Beaumont, TX.  Timothy retired from Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. after 42 years of service.

Those remaining to celebrate his life, is his wife of 38 years, Mrs. Gayle Jones White; two sons Timothy White Jr. and Sean White; a sister, Amanda Willis (Chris), a brother Johnnie Dancer (Deborah); two uncles, Clavon Sostand and Raymond Sostand Sr. (Annie Mae); and aunt, Josephine Joseph, a host of family, friends, co-workers and his Triumph Church family.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Triumph Church Nederland, 1407 S. Hwy. 69, Nederland, TX with visitation from 12 noon until service time.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
