Memorial’s Lofton finalist for McDonald’s All American game

Port Arthur Memorial senior center Kennedi Lofton and two others from Southeast Texas have been nominated for the McDonald’s All American girls basketball game.

The game will be held March 29 at the United Center in Chicago on ESPNU, with the boys game to follow on ESPN. This is the 16th year for the girls game and the 40th for the boys.

The final game rosters will be chosen from the list of nominees across the country.

Roby Onuarah of West Brook and Alexis Morris of Legacy Christian are the other Southeast Texans nominated. Morris signed with Baylor.
