Theresa Georgia Dugas Tackwood was born August 25, 1944 in Port Arthur, TX to George and Rosa Dugas. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School. She worked at Park Place hospital and Crest Haven Nursing Home for many years. Theresa entered into eternal rest on December 30, 2016.

Memorial services will be held 12 noon Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Gilliam officiating. The family will start receiving friends at 11:30 a.m.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Rosa Dugas. Left to cherish her memories are son, Paul Dugas and Shannon Jones (Lee); grandchildren, Craig Dugas, Johanna Dugas, Ariana Fruge (Christopher), Shana Dugas, Leah Jones, Sydni Jones, Lee Jones III, and seven great grandchildren; sister, Mary J. Maze; nieces, Melissa Maze and Karen Maze; nephew Bobby Maze, Jr. (Sybil) and a devoted friend Dorothy Gilder.
