Memorial’s Vincent thrives in Under Armour game

The entire college football nation took its first glance at Port Arthur Memorial senior Kary Vincent Jr. on Sunday.

Vincent started his new year with a strong performance in the Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando, Fla., before an ESPN audience. Vincent had two punt returns for 35 yards and made three tackles as his Team Armour, coached by former NFL defensive tackle Mike Golic, beat Deion Sanders’ Team Highlight 24-21 at Camping World Stadium, the site of Monday’s Citrus Bowl.

Vincent also earned plenty of face time leading up to the game. The Times-Picayune of New Orleans released a 6-minute video in which Vincent got to interview his fellow All-Americans. Vincent plans to sign with LSU on Feb. 1.
