Lee Harmason, Sr., 84, of Port Arthur died Friday, December 23, 2016. A native of Vorhis, Louisiana, he was a longtime resident of Port Arthur. Lee was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a member of S.I.U.

He leaves to cherish great memories his wife of 28 years Gracie Gable Harmason of Port Arthur; one sister, Dorothy Bright of Port Arthur; four sons, Lee Harmason, Jr., Don Jones, Jr., Reginald Gable and Latroy Gable; three daughters, Hattie Harmason Griffin, Darlanka Morgan and Vanessa Reed; two sisters-in-law, Anna Harmason and Ora Lee Harmason; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
