Third shooting in 10 days at Louis Manor Apts.

A 23-year-old man was left with non-life threatening injuries after the third shooting in 10 days at Louis Manor Apartments on Wednesday.
Port Arthur Police responded shortly before 2 p.m. Dec. 21 to the apartment complex, 1300 Joe Louis Ave., where they found a Port Arthur man with a gunshot wound to the upper arm, according to a press release from the police department.
The victim could only provide limited information at this time and was sent to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont for treatment.
The case remains under investigation.
LaRisa Carpenter, public information officer for the city of Port Arthur said the shooting is unrelated to two previous shootings that occurred on Dec. 11 and Dec. 14 at the complex. These two shootings are thought to be related.
