Bond is set at $500,000 for Otis John Babino Jr. for the shooting death of Jeffrey Richardson.

Babino was arraigned Tuesday morning and Justice of the Peace Leonard Giblin Jr. set bond.

Babino, 36, of Port Arthur is charged with the murder of Jeffrey Richardson, 31, whose body was found in his residence at Timber Creek Apartments, 3605 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. shortly before 4:30 p.m. Dec. 17.
