Members of the Mid-County chambers of commerce gathered to celebrate the holiday season for the annual Christmas mixer at the Pompano Club in Port Neches on Wednesday.
The Pompano Club was decked out for the holidays as business people and guests from Nederland, Port Neches and Groves mingled before having a meal together.
“I always look forward for a chance to meet people from the different cities,” Ronnie Boneau, executive director of the Groves Chamber of Commerce, said. “I’m glad our three chambers can get together, interact and celebrate the season together.”
Nan Gregg was there with her twin sister, Amy Butaud, representing the Port Neches Chamber of Commerce.
“We have so many members here tonight,” Gregg said. “It’s nice to co-mingle at one time, and there’s good food at the Pompano.”
Arvie Whittridge, an ambassador with the Groves Chamber, brought along his granddaughter, Samantha Smith.
“I come to this every year,” Whittridge said. “It’s nice to see old friends.”
