JANICE TODORA ON BOWLING: RaeAnna leads week in abbreviated action

This past week’s action at the Max had only half the leagues bowling due to the Thanksgiving holidays.

Monday night’s Valero League provided all the high scores this past week. RaeAnna Todora led all bowlers this week by shooting games of 265-248-222 on her way to a 735 series. There are a few of the female bowlers that give these men bowlers a run for their money for the top spot each week.

There was a tie for the top male bowler. Kirwin Melo fired games of 246-190-278 for a nice 714 set. Right there with Kirwin was Josh Metz, who hammered the lanes for games of 243-247-224 for a 714 series.

The Saturday morning youth league, Stars of Tomorrow, had Cain Shaw as the top bowler. Cain shot impressive games of 185-183-210 for a 578 series.

Next week’s column will have all the leagues back in action as we work our way to the Christmas holidays.
