HOT-SHOOTING SHARKS BLOW OUT LIONS

ORANGE — Four Sabine Pass players shot 48 percent or better from the floor Tuesday in leading the Sharks to a 77-36 win over Orange Community Christian and handing coach Scott Hagedorn his first victory.

Daniel Sam, who shot 48 percent from the floor, scored 25 points, made 4 of 4 free throws and had two steals to key the win. Jamyus Jones scored 23 points and collected 14 rebounds and Dominique Wilson (67 percent shooting) totaled 17 points.

Shane Foreman made 2 of 4 from the floor and Zion Parker went 2 for 3. As a team, Sabine Pass (1-1) shot 33 for 78 for 42 percent.
