LITTLE CYPRESS — Nederland nearly had three players pull off double-doubles Monday in a 48-39 boys basketball win over Little Cypress-Mauriceville to start the Thanksgiving week.
Darrell Jones scored a game-high 19 points and made seven assists in the win. Kevin Howard just got a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Hayden Hefner contributed nine points and six rebounds in the win.
Kanton Brown led LCM with 11 points.
Nederland (2-0) hosts Hardin-Jefferson at 6 tonight.
In girls action Monday, LCM beat Nederland 33-23.
