Police in Port Arthur believe two drive-by shootings in the Lakeview area may be gang related.

Officers were first called to the 1000 block of Brazos around 1 a.m. Friday where a house was hit numerous times. A second call came in around 5 a.m. in the 5100 block of Ninth Street where another house was hit with bullets.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

Port Arthur Police Department’s criminal investigations division is handling the shootings.
