NEDERLAND — A woman practicing driving crashed into the side of Bobby’s Homestyle Cooking in Nederland on Tuesday afternoon.

Nederland Police, fire department and an ambulance responded to the scene that happened around 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at the business, 2750 Nederland Ave.

An officer said that a man was teaching a woman how to drive in the large parking lot and was attempting to learn how to park and back-up when the incident happened.

The woman was cited for unsafe speed only because there was a crash involving damage, the officer said.

No injuries were reported.
