Micahela “Mica” Cuellar, 89, of Groves, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016.

Mica was born September 29, 1927 in Hebbronville, Texas to Jorge and Felicita Mota. She was a lifelong resident of Groves and retired after 36 years of service as the head waitress of El Charro Restaurant. She was also a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Edward Cuellar.

Survivors include her daughter, Maria Davis and her husband Bob of Bridge City; son, Felipe Cuellar of Richmond; brothers, George Mota of Mathis, and Antonio Mota and his wife Amelia of Lubbock; grandchildren, Pam Tatum, Vanessa Garcia, Gerald Bazinet and his wife Cynthia, and Eddie Cuellar; great-grandchildren, Brooke Duplantis, Ariel Garcia, Hunter Dore, Sydney Bazinet, Makenna Bazinet, Treven Cuellar, and Cierra Cuellar; great-great grandchildren, Ava Ramour and Delaney Ramour.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon at the funeral home and will be followed by a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m.
