George “Big Moose” Evans, Sr. was born November 26, 1924 in Rayne, LA to the late Charlie and Florence Evans. On Friday, October 28, 2016 he was called to eternal rest in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

George leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Elizabeth “Ann” Moore and Irene Evans of Rayne, LA; three sons: Charlie and Thomas Evans of Rayne, LA and Merlin Evans of Crowley, LA.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 549 West Gulfway Dr, Port Arthur, TX.

A viewing beginning at 9 a.m. Interment Live Oak Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
