The Port Arthur Police Department Blue Santa program will begin taking applications for assistance on Thursday, Nov. 3.

Applications may be picked up ad dropped off in the lobby of the police department.

Applicants will need to complete the application and attach a copy of a Texas State photo identification along with a copy of the child’s birth certificate. The application must have copies attached to it, do not attach originals.

Eligible children must be 10 years of age or under.

Applicants may only apply if they have not been part of the Blue Santa program for the last two consecutive years as well as have not applied for other gift assistance programs in the area as these will be cross referenced in the process.

Applications are on a first come first served basis and will only be given out to the first 150 people seeking assistance in the program.
