Murry Parham, Jr., 82, of Port Arthur passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Harbor Hospice. A native of Oak Ridge, LA, he was a resident of Port Arthur for 55 years, a member of Rock Island Baptist Church and retired from Firestone Automotive.

Survivors include his children, John Johnson, Sr., Johnnie Johnson, Carolyn Branch and Veronica P. Johnson; 15 grandchildren; a special friend Dorothy Soileau; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Rock Island Baptist Church with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
