Kathryn Reynolds Carlin, 95, of Groves, Texas went to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Cypress Glen in Port Arthur, Texas.

Kathryn was born August 2, 1921 in Ennis, Texas, to Emory Barker and Willie Mae Chilcoat Barker. She was a longtime area resident, member of Central Baptist Church in Port Arthur and the Rachel Sunday School Class. She was also a sales clerk for Dryden’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Preston Reynolds the father of her children; husband J. W. Carlin; sisters, Billie Benoit, Edith Meadows, Inez Kelly; brothers, James Barker and Roy Barker.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathi Green and her husband Brad of Nederland; sons, Norman Reynolds and his wife Gwyn of Beaumont, Gary Reynolds and his wife Pat of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Reba Tomplait of Port Neches; grandchildren, Norman Reynolds, Jr., Larry Reynolds, Melissa Fisher, Chelsi Reynolds, Josh Reynolds, Ryan Green, Ashley Guilbeaux; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Kenneth Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
