Amanda Alice Crosby, 85, died September 7, 2106 at her home. She was born and raised in Bay Springs, Mississippi, to John W. and Irene Crosby and resided in Port Arthur for sixty-one years.

Amanda was a member of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church in Port Arthur for over fifty years. She worked at Texaco Refinery, where she retired.

She leaves her two sons, Sidney and Daryl Crosby of Port Arthur, Texas; one brother Lonnie Holder (Mary) of Cleveland, Ohio; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two special friends, Sis. Latulas and Lee Ann Batiste and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, 1224 Houston Avenue, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 12 p.m. until service time. Rev. Glenn Holmes will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
