Myrtle Pickens Scott received her eternal wings on August 3, 2016 at Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, TX.

A life celebration will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Eastern Star Baptist Church with the viewing starting at 9:00 am and funeral services following at 11:00 am. Pastor L.W. Scott will be officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Scott is survived by four daughters, Linda Jones (Keith), Norma Jean Jackson, Cynthia Scott, Carolyn Fontenot; four sons Phillip (Lois), Bryan (Barbara), Alfred (Charlotte) and Charles Lee Scott; one sister, Georgena Pickens; three brothers, George (Dora) Pickens, Henry Moore and Cezear Moore; two sisters-in-law, Bettye Ozen and Gloria Pickens; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
