Norris Branch, 68, of Port Arthur, transitioned July 29, 2016. He was born on October 2, 1947 to the late Roger and Leola Branch. Norris was a 1966 graduate of Abraham Lincoln School. He retired from Motiva in 2008 after 34 years of service as an operator.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 47 years, Phyllis Branch; daughter, Shalonda Morgan (Kenneth, Sr.), grandchildren Kennedy and Kaden Morgan; two sisters, Lois Scott (Albert), Leola Branch, Houston, TX; brother Roger Branch Jr., California; sisters-in-law Alma Juneau, Beverly Vitatoe; brother-in-law Reverend Samuel Juneau Sr. (Brenda), Beaumont, TX; aunts Lorraine Jones, Faye Branch, June Burrell, Beatrice Branch; uncle, Kendell Branch (Gloria), Beaumont, TX; and a host of cousins nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Sacred Heart-St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Etim officiating. Visitation will be 8 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
