Mary Ruth Suits, 90, of Groves passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at The Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orange, Texas.

She was born on January 28, 1926 in Abbeville, Louisiana to Milton Nunez and Julia Porter Nunez.

Ruth was a lifelong area resident and member of First Baptist Church of Groves.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves with Reverend Charles Miller of First Baptist Groves officiating.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Leinert and second husband, John Suits.

Ruth is survived by her son, Mike Leinert of Bridge City, daughter, Jackie Huckabay and husband, Glen of Bridge City, three grandchildren, Travis Lee, Kelly Lee Schrader and husband Justin, Lynde Lee and great granddaughter, Julia LaRae Goss.

Ruth loved her family and her dogs and cats.
