Lamar baseball to hold prospect camp

BEAUMONT – High school baseball players wishing to display their skills will have the opportunity on Aug. 20 at 9 a.m. at the Lamar University Baseball Prospect Camp at Vincent-Beck Stadium.

The Major League style showcase will give ninth-12th graders the opportunity to work out in front new head coach Will Davis and staff. The high-intensity camp is for high school players looking to play at the collegiate level.

The cost for attendance is $100 for players wishing to compete in the hitters and pitchers camps and $30 for just the pitcher camp. For more information, Call Nolan Frost at the baseball office at 409-880-8327 or visit www.LamarUniversityBaseballCamps.com.
