NED CHAMBER ANNOUNCES GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Nederland Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 21st Annual Golf Tournament Oct. 7.
The chamber is seeking sponsors for the tournament. Anyone interested should call 722-0279.
Tee time is at 8:30 a.m. The cost per team is $300.
Sponsorship is also available. Levels include Platinum for $1,000, Gold for $500 and a hole for $150.
About I.C. Murrell
I.C. Murrell was promoted to editor of The News, effective Oct. 14, 2019. He previously served as sports editor since August 2015 and has won or shared eight first-place awards from state newspaper associations and corporations. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, grew up mostly in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
