Edith June Gennuso, 84, of Groves, TX entered the gates to heaven on June 18, 2016.

Edith was born on June 24, 1931, to George and Mary Grace White of Beaumont, TX. She worked as a secretary at SunOil Company. After marrying the love of her life she left the company to become a mother. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frankie J. Gennuso, Sr., her parents and siblings.

Edith will be deeply missed by her children, Frankie Gennuso, Jr. and wife, Vickey, Carla Speaks and husband David, Greta Smith and husband Thomas and Becky Gaspard and husband Bryan. Her memory will be cherished by her 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with at rosary to be prayed at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rev. JC Coon celebrating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
