Curtis Wayne “Nemo” Thomas Sr.

Curtis Wayne Thomas of Port Arthur passed away on, Monday, June 13, 2016 He was. born on November 27, 1960 in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, and a member of the Baptist faith, attending Zion Hill Baptist Church and Christian Church of Port Arthur/Groves. He is preceded in Death by his parents Willie and Mary Thomas, and his brother Timmy Thomas.

A visitation is scheduled from 9 A.M. Until 11A.M. on Saturday, June18, 2016, followed by a funeral service at 11 A.M., at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Eric P. Guidry Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his loving companion Ms. Gail Hayes of Port Arthur, two sons, Curtis Wayne Thomas Jr. and Joshua Thomas of Port Arthur; two daughters Latosha Thomas and Chantel Carter (Chris) of Port Arthur; one step-daughter, Lakena Galliher (Zack) of League, City, Texas; three brothers, Allan Ray Thomas Sr. (Sonja), Jessie Thomas Sr. (Mamie), Michael Jarvis Thomas Sr. (Bobbie) of Port Arthur and eight sisters, Irene Nolen (Harold) of Dallas, Texas, Madeline White (Johnny) , Willie Mae Elmore(Raymond) , Bessie Johnson, Lara Kyle(John), Lucy Peacock (Leon), Angelina Charles(Byron), and Mary Vanwright all of Port Arthur. He has six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
