Anna Rose Bandsma

Anna Rose Bandsma, 93, formerly of Port Neches, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 surrounded by the love of her family and the caring staff at Wyoming Springs Assisted Living Center in Round Rock, Texas.

Anna was born May 5, 1923 in Sulphur, Louisiana to Sidney Weber and Antonio Barras Weber.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Anna made a lifetime of memories with her husband of 66 years traveling the United States and visiting family and friends. She had a passion for genealogy and spent countless hours researching her family history. In her later years, she reconnected with her love of art.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Bandsma, and her daughter, Linda Bandsma Isom. She is survived by her son-in-law, Bill Isom and grandchildren, Patrick Isom and wife, Shannon, and Christie Isom and Scott Grant. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Samantha Sharpnack-Isom, Jacob Isom, Kieran Isom, and Abby Grant.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

The family would like to express their love and heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Wyoming Springs Assisted Living Center for their compassionate and loving care during the last three years.
