Horace Peter Prevost, 79, of Port Arthur, Texas departed peacefully while surrounded by family on May 1, 2016. He was born November 30, 1936, Franklin, LA to the late John and Victoria Prevost. He is also preceded in death by his son Michael W. Prevost.

He is survived and deeply cherished by his devoted wife of 58 years Mrs. Bobbie J. Prevost and five loving daughters, Tenita Babineaux (Houston), Sharon Prevost (Houston), Stephaney Talton (Dwight), (Beaumont), Paula & Carla Prevost (Houston); two sisters, four brothers, seven grands, and seven great-grands.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Shilo Missionary Baptist Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Oberlin, LA. Arrangements under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
