Billie Moore Templeton, 89, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Calder Woods, Beaumont. She was born on January 5, 1927, in Rose Pine, Louisiana, to Lottie Moore and Riley J. Moore, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.

Billie worked at Texaco for thirty-seven years, and retired as and Administrative Assistant to the Area Manager. She loved her home and enjoyed gardening and traveling, but above all, her church and church friends meant the world to her. Billie had a great sense of humor and a knockout smile for everyone. She attended school at Thomas Jefferson High and was a member of The Hussars Drum and Bugle Corps; she also attended Port Arthur Business College.

Billie is survived by her husband, John Templeton, of Beaumont; niece, Carla Heverly and her husband, Tod, and their son, Noah, of Houston; and many cousins; and host of family and close friends who loved her.
