Wenny Chang won her third individual women’s golf championship Tuesday and led Lamar to a second-place finish in the HBU Husky Invitational in Sugar Land.

Chang shot 1-over 73 on Tuesday at Riverbend Country Club to finish 2-over 218 for 54 holes, beating Houston Baptist’s Lexi Brooks by two strokes.

Taylor Stockton finished at 226, Kura Polo at 240 and Oliva Le Roux and Felicia Sauceda at 242 for Lamar.

In Baton Rouge, the Lamar men’s team finished fourth behind ninth-place Charlie Flowers’ two-round 148 in the one-day Tiger Invitational.
