Ms. Sandra Marie Prevost, of Fresno, Texas, died Sunday, March 20^th at MD Anderson Hospital.  A native of Port Arthur, Texas, she resided in Fresno for the past 12 years and was employed at Houston Methodist Hospital as a Patient Safety Specialist.   A 1986 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, she went on to obtain an RN and MSN from Lamar University and recently earned her CPPS, Certified Professional in Patient Safety.  Her dedication to service and sisterhood were evident in her love for and continued activeness with Delta Sigma Theta Inc.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Earl Prevost and Della Marie Prevost. She has left to honor her memory her brothers Michael Prevost and Phillip Joseph Prevost (Melanie Lyons Prevost) her nieces Trakena Herschelle Shaw (Brandon DeJuan Shaw) and Shauntelle Marie Prevost, her nephew Reuben Joseph Prevost and her great nieces Morghan Marie Prevost and McKenzie Barbara-Jean Diggs, her great nephew Braydon Earl Shaw, and her fiancé Ricky Espree, along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.

A visitation is scheduled from 9 am until 10 am Saturday at Pearland West Church of Christ, 2849 Miller Ranch Road, Suite #533, Pearland, Texas 77548.   Funeral service is scheduled for 10 am.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
