Thursday night’s Energy Country Ford League had some impressive scores this past week. However it was Monday night’s Valero League that had this week’s top bowler.

Kirwin Melo shot very impressive games of 247-237-268 for a league-leading 752.

Now on Thursday night, following real close to Kirwin, was Brandon Powell. Brandon had games of 264-247-240 for a sweet 751 set.

Karen Bellow seems to be getting her shot lined up lately. Karen led the senior women with nice games of 209-168-235 for a 612 series.

Leading all the women this past week was RaeAnna Todora. She fired games of 214-227-228 for a 669 series.

Saturday’s Stars of Tomorrow saw Brandon Bertrand hammering games of 189-191-203 for a 583 series. Kaden Zampini showed up and reeled off nice games of 172-188-158 for a 518 set.

This year’s Men’s City Championship concluded this past weekend. Once the tournament results are turned to this column, we will report who is this year’s champion.

On a somber note, this column wishes to express their condolences to Renee, Shelley and James Moity on the sudden loss of their mother this past week. Our prayers are with you all. Also please keep Russell Hebert in your prayers as he continues his struggles with his illness.
