Hubert Dixson, 85, of Port Arthur died Friday, March 11, 2016 at Baptist hospital. A native of Eunice, Louisiana, he was a resident of Port Arthur for over 70 years and was employed by C.A. Turner Construction for over 30 years.

He is survived by one daughter Terri Smoots; 4 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
