Darrell Gillette Allen, 83, of Port Neches, TX passed away December 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 9, 1932 in Port Arthur, TX to the late Cecil Gillette Allen and Ruth Victoria Allen.

Darrell was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, a member of Harley Owners Group and a proud Grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter, Gail McRae and husband Skip of Jacksonville, FL; grandchild, Sunny Ray and husband, Carl of Port Neches, TX; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Ray and Kambri Ray of Port Neches, TX.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Father Shane Baxter, celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
