Lorena Marie Zeno, 77, of Port Arthur, TX died on December 17, 2015. She was born on January 10, 1938 in Duson, LA. Ms. Zeno was a cook for many years and was involved as a volunteer for the foster Grandparents up until the time she got ill.

   Ms. Zeno was the daughter of the late Fernest and Adele Zeno. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Oren, Norris, Jeffrey, Paul, Sr., and Joseph Zeno; one sister- in-law Margie Zeno, and nephew Jerome Zeno. Ms. Zeno is survived by her children Sara Zeno, Walter Zeno, James (Tonia) Zeno, Michael (Sonja) Zeno, all of Port Arthur, TX; two sisters Mary L. Zeno of Lake Charles, LA and Lorita Zeno Benoit of Duson, LA; one brother Voorhies Zeno of Lafayette, LA; two sisters- in-law Joyce Zeno of Port Arthur, TX and Mary Zeno of Lake Charles, LA; one brother-in-law Joseph Benoit of Duson, LA and 8 grandchildren, one of which she raised like her own, Ebony Zeno, 5 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

   Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Christian Faith Baptist Church with a visitation from 9 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
