Cecile Angelle Felix

Cecile Angelle Felix, 99 of Port Neches passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Port Arthur, Texas.  Cecile was born June 23, 1916 in Cecilia, Louisiana to the late Joseph Clema Angelle and Evelyne Patin Felix.
Cecile was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother to her family.  She was a devout Catholic and was a founding member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Port Arthur, Texas and was currently an active member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Port Neches, Texas.  She served the church in many capacities including CCD teacher.  She went to Mass daily and was very strong in her faith.  She was known to be extremely honest in her opinions but also was a giving person to anyone in need.  She will be greatly missed by many.
Cecile is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 59 years, Max Charles Felix and all of her siblings.
Cecile is survived by her sons, Karl Charles Felix and his wife Phillis of Beaumont, TX.; Richard Kirk Felix and his wife Cathy of Baytown, TX.; Mark Timothy Felix and his partner Gary of Dallas, TX., Michael T. Felix and his wife Susan of Port Neches, TX.; grandchildren, Troy, Greg, Paul, Nancy, Jodie, Brittany, Brandon, Michelle, Jamie, Chrissy, Jennifer, Lindsey and 29 great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur, Texas.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 13. 2015, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Port Neches, Texas with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
